OK, I was enjoying happy hour at the marina I used to work at on Friday. I couldn't help noticing the old Datsun in the shop.

hahahahha.... cracks me up...
at my old work they had a Nissan fork lift and it had a little 120Y engine in it... or it was at least an A series motor.
but thats even better being that it had Datsun badges....

Looks like the "Z Production" Competition model, with that rollcage! (And those are some SERIOUS nerf-bars on the front end!) I like the racy pinstriping down the sides.

Wonder how it would look with a Recaro seat and PanaSport wheels? We could take it to AirJockie to fit some sticky tires and free-flow exhaust!

Seems like all Jap companies start out making construction equipment. Then they saw the light. (is a Transformer considered construction equipment? my nefew has this and won't let me have it, it's just like my 83)

Yes we are    Just when it felt like spring, my 83 gets snowed in, but not to worry, I went out to clear it off and not drive it some more. I don't mind the wetness, but salt is a no no. Sorry guys, but the garge is filled with 2 Z's already. I need more garages. :D

Those blokes Down Under are probably wondering what's happening to all our Brain Housing Assemblies up here! They've never even SEEN snow, so they don't undrstnd the sad things that happen to the human mind when you can't get out of the house for weeks at a time!

ANYWAY ~ two good things are just around the corner; Remember to set your clocks ahead an hour this weekend (which will cut an hour out of winter and make Springtime at least a LITTLE closer), and

WE HAVE OUR FIRST MONTHLY MEETING NEXT WEDNESDAY! I don't expect to actually see many Z cars (except Keith's, who could push his car to the meeting if he needed to), but it will be a GREAT break just to see you guys again and talk some carZ.
