Nice, but I still prefer the 544.......

That's got about what....143,000 miles on it now? Just broken-in for a Volvo.

All the power to you, I dread those cars, matter of fact I got one in pieces, and not encouraged to put it back together for the guy, so buy now, buy cheap, I'm shure he'd concider selling it. 5 cyl. turbo, was nice before the head gasket went, and head is off. I'll tow it out and pick up the rims. (just wishful thinking when you don't have the passion for the project.) I just stick with my Z's, and I have enough as far as projects there. I have other cars of passion as well, but where would I put them.

Hey Paul. i totally agree with you on those 5cyl cars, those front drivers i stay far away from.... I only stick with the tried and true 2.3 4 cyl rear wheel drive cars, have bought and sold so many of them with well over 200k on them i've lost count. Selling my 94 turbo wagon with 232k on it to a friend who got another one with the same mileage from me a couple of years ago.. A guy a block over from me bought my 91 turbo wagon w/270k on that one, he drives it 100 miles a day commuuting and says he has never had a car like it in all his 40 years of driving, he loves it.... If you have the opportunity to buy a claen well maintained 740 or 940 n/a or preferably turbo car buy it, you will not regret it.. As i say i wouldn't get any 5cyl front driver at all, As they say on my volvo sites, front drive is not a Volvo..... Here's my 91 i sold with my 85 GLL..........

I like those 544's too Frank, cant daily drive them though like the 7/940 cars, i like having all the creature comforts, a/c, cruise, etc.. This one is really a baby compared to the cars i usually find and re-sell, the two guys i sold cars to in the past both want the new black one, these cars sell themselves ....
