Any mechanics up there? Want to rebuild or replace the engine in my 1980 Fairlady and do some other minor repairs (shocks, struts)? I can leave it up there on Saturday. I am willing to sign over my 1984 Fairlady as payment once the work is complete. Intersted, we can discuss on the 18th.

My wife is going to kill me...

we'll have to talk on the 18th...it looks like I'll make the meet. As for rebuilding an engine...I've lost count of how many engines I've done, and swaps,... I've had my share that I also lost count of. The lazy bug bit me this year...so I'm not touching the house or the cars...but as of today, I've started playing with my CRX again. Since the wife has started up college again, I've actually gained the time to do stuff....but when she's not in school...it's 100% her time and the dogs time.

Hey Kirk~
I see you and AirJockie have finally met. Between the two of you, you probably have more time in Japan than Mr K has.

What's the parts supply situation for the L20E engine? Are parts available here? AJ, if you wound up with a RHD Z car, K would feel right at home. If she catches you working on it, you can tell her it was a surprise Bday gift.

L20 parts would most likely have to come from Japan unless there was a lucky find. The L20s that I have come across are not FI. I am up to a swap maybe an RB20ET or other Hybrid, Nissan only though.

Wifes tend to get over these things!

Cheers, Kirk

Unfortunatley, I have decided not to make the 4 hour trek north. Been on the road too much latey, Cleveland, Rochester, Philadelphia and points in between. Also did a 230 mile motorcycle ride on Columbus Day Pasadena to DC to Lookout Point and home. Hope you all have a great time and I am sure we will cross paths next season. Let me know about the engine rebuild/swap AirJockie.
