Sad news for owners of British vintage Triumph's and MG's. The supplier of parts for our LBC's suffered a devastating total loss of their building in Armagh, PA.
Fire completely destroyed the building and all of the contents, looks like three Triumph's from their collection were saved.

They were a critical supplier during the restoration of my 1961 Triumph TR3A.
Their customer service has been impeccable, if you had a problem Albert Runyan, the owner would often fix any problem personally.
I think it will be a tough road back, years of special parts, etc.
Photo attached, I bought a new top from them a month ago....Have 3 ring binder full of receipts from them and the other major supplier of British car parts, Moss Motors.

Oh, no!
That's almost like losing a member of a very large family. Had I a TR or MG in my garage, I'd have probably asked for gift certificates under my tree; worthless now.

In/abt 1957 (maybe?) the Jaguar factory in Coventry England burned to the ground, taking with it a large number of racing D-Types, a few C-Types, and the entire existing inventory of unsold XKSS street sports cars. Since fewer than 20 had ever been built and only a few had been sold, that represented the total sum of existing new XKSS cars.

Fairly certain people then felt as TR and MG lovers do now.
Sad Christmas news, inded.

Frank
