Late, but Happy New Year clubbies!

Well, I moved the snow blower out of the way and managed to take my '71Z out yesterday on washed off (no salt) clear roads with mid 50 deg temps for a short 18 mile jaunt around the neighborhood back roads. I am always impressed by this car's fun factor especially when I haven't driven it for a while. :D

What a good way to start off the new year!

Best way to start the new year!
My roads were still white with road salt so I just started the car in the garage and breathed deeply for a few minutes until the world started spinning, then I shut it down and crawled out to fresh air.

I was a little groggy for a day but I'm much better now; I can tie my own shoes and almost walk in a straight line again.

I don't understand. You sound perfectly fine, just like you usually do, Frank.

John you know how to start the new year!!

Frank...... Your heart was in the right place. Maybe next time just sit in the driver's seat and make vroom vroom noises.

Until yesterday our roads still had some icy runoff in spots, and heavy amounts of salt/anti skid. That is still there but the ice is finally gone (for now) with these milder temps. We have gotten a fair amount of snow here so far which isn't unusual. Most years you can expect the roads to be Datsun unfriendly until mid-late April.

The price of living at 2000' above sea level I guess.
