Back in September, my wife and I visited the American Heritage Museum in Hudson MA. I've heard about this place before but never thought it would be as spectacular a place as it turned out to be. This place is truly amazing.

I figured I would see a bunch of old rusted WWII tanks and vehicles is some hanger ....... Boy, were we surprised! This is a modern first-class history museum in every way. Theaters are spread around this modern facility providing visitors with a time line history of the wars (WWI to today) that our veterans fought in along with actual restored military vehicles of ALL types supporting each war period. This was one of the best museums I have ever been to. The volunteer staff was eager to answer any questions we had and spent time with us pointing out some of the must-see displays.

If you like history and anything military, this should be on your bucket list. Check out their website on the link below as there is much too much stuff at this museum for me to describe here.

Cheers!

Wow, what a nice place! I will put this on my to-do-soon list.

Coincidentally, I just today learned of a barnfind 280zx for sale about 10 miles from this museum. I will help the non-member advertiZe it here on the website soon. Whoever wants to zee the car can also see the museum :D

Here are a few pictures I took from our September 22 visit to the museum.

Oh, that looks wonderful! I really have to visit that collection and buy some display items for my garage and front yard!

That tracked troop transport carrier is straight out of the bridge scene of "The Dirty Dozen". I think Lee Marvin drove one.

Good catch Frank! That transport vehicle was the very same one used in the "Dirty Dozen" movie. :)
