While walking in Portugal last month, I came upon this very interesting Datsun...

Can anyone identify this model?

Mornin' all,

I came up with "210". Close!

Back in the day, I purchased a used Stanza from a local dealer. Great car, very peppy and economicaal to drive, but at highway speeds would not stay in 5th gear. Dealer wanted 50% to repair. Traded for my first of 3 Ford Escorts. Never a bit of trouble and very economical to drive. Our son learned on the first, our daughter on the third. All were standard transmission and very economical to drive.

A year after trading the Stanza I received a phone call from it's new owner asking if it had transmisionn problems. He purchased from one of the larger dealers in the Hartford area and was told I traded it towards a new van. He paid half for a replacement transmission. I guess it shows to go ya what some dealers are all about!

Alan

Very interesting!

Probably the European cousin to the B210, but technically it's a "120Y".

The lack of Eurozone license plates on the car leads me to assume that the current owner has had the car for decades.

Goodness knows how old it actually is, but all things considered, it looks pretty good!

Cool quiz Jim. Never heard of a 120Y. :? It has the exact same truck release button as my 240Z.
