Not a Z, but a car that I have been infatuated with for the past 45 years has finally made its way into my garage! A 1976 Ford Gran Torino Starsky & Hutch edition!

The car was lovingly restored by an older gentleman in Florida and he decided to pass the car on to its next caretaker. I was fortunate to be able to be in that position. It is spot on identical to the TV car, right down to the red teardrop cop light. 351 Windsor bored .030 over, cam, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel 650 carb. Automatic with performance exhaust. It sounds awesome. Slotted mag wheels and the iconic white vector stripe, of course.

I flew to Florida to check it out, talked cars with this great car guy and a deal was struck. The car ships north on Monday.

Hang in there folks. Dreams do come true. Bucket list #7, CHECK!!

I assume you've seen Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino" a few times?
The car doesn't get as much screen time as his M-1 Garand and 1911, but it's a beauty nonetheless.
