Well, I looked out of the garage one day...saw a rabbit in the lawn...took some pictures..

then where it was sitting...I looked and found 6 babies...

left it alone for two days, and the wife watched the hutch all night and morning, and the mother never came back...

worried...I waited one more day, toss some grass over the hutch to see if it would get disturbed...and nothing...

so tossed them in a box, got them out of the rain, and fed them grass and leaves... one little guy didn't look like he would make it...but he did...and all of them got plump again....

So I took two car ramps, a shelf, a dustpan, and put them together to keep the neighborhood cats away from them, and we'll see how they fair...

I had to throw a Z in the gallery just for fun.

Now you should watch "Watership Down" a animated cartoon about 30 years old about rabbits. (I have it if you want to borrow it, :D ) The only rabbit stories I have are not good ones, so I'll hold off, especially the dinner time ones.

Wascawy wabbits!!!! Cute though, and very photogenic.......

Years ago my Golden Retriever, Joe, used to bring them home. He
had a very "soft" mouth as we retriever people call it, and never hurt
them at all. Sort of just adopted them and "gave them a ride home."
