This is a very late entry for which I apologiZe.
This past summer a flock of us convoyed to Rochester NY for the ZCCR annual Z Fest. Our good time was well documented in the Post covering that event.
But when we held the huge car show that weekend, I encountered a guy named Dave Palermo who does strange things to motor vehicles and was an Ace at creating louvers. I personally viewed his many-louvered Z hood and inspection lids and found he was willing to crank a few out for anybody who might need them. We didn't talk price, but his workmanship was outstanding and would justify high prices if he asked for them.
