I've been using a toolbox of rust and paint removers on the 620. Loctite makes a really nice gelled phosphoric acid that is an odd pink color. Using it with a scrub brush for some stubborn rust on bits too big to go into an evaporust bath. Also some chunks on the frame have just been converted via rustoleum rust reformer. Stripping has been either Klean-Strip or Aircraft Remover(whichever was handy). This is the stuff to be super careful with or suffer the wrath of nasty chemical burns.

I use WD40.

I used to use WD40 but it gunks up on me. Also it's flammable and I'm generally unlucky (clumsy) so if anything can go wrong, it usually does. I spray WD40 thru a lit flame to make a flamethrower and kill bugs in the garage. 8)

I didn't know that WD-40 was flammable. I'll have to try that flame thrower stunt because it sounds like fun and dangerous too. 8) Did you know how it got its name? WD stands for "water displacement", and the 40 was the fortieth attempt at perfecting the formula.

Yeah, very flammable. We toasted a lot of flying bugs with it in Nam. If you have the little drinking-straw applicator hooked onto the noZZle you get more range. Light the flame first, then sweep the spray thru the flame. The most combat-effective drill is to spray the target first, then light the flame, which also ignites the target.
