Need to replace my aftermarket pwr antenna. Since I installed an AM/FM/CB combo radio years ago it was compatible with that unit (had an inline splitter box for CB signal). I'm thinking a regular power antenna might work if I retain splitter box. I retained separate up/down switch.
Any BTDTs on pwr antenna replacement. Of course would like to come close to OEM appearance. Where might I source/purchase? I'm in SW Ohio. Now where did I put that OEM AM/FM radio when I installed AM/FM/CB unit?

Thanks,
Chris

I've been doing some hunting for aftermarket antennas. Since the AM/FM/CB combo antenna I had was rather high (at full extension, 41" from top of fender) am wondering about mast height of a new antenna. Maybe silly of me but its a "scale" issue, seems like mast should be in proper proportion to size of car.

So have a request. Could someone that has a fully operational OEM AM/FM antenna tell me it's height at full extension? In advance...Thanks.

Chris

Looks like I might have an original one as well, it's all there, I will see if it works.

Did you ever get this measurement you asked for?

Frank,

Thanks for the follow-up. Never did get a reply about measurement. I did find my OEM AM/FM radio so it was re-installed and found an OEM AM/FM antenna which I purchased. It was pricey but glad I went that direction.
