Just underneath the 370z badge is a stamped metal badge from the
dealer.
Any suggestion how I can safely remove the badge?

If I had known they were going to put it on I would have refused.

It really take away from the Z's look.

Thank you for your assistance.

Mac (Or is Barry better?),

I hate it when they do this, but hey, it's free advertising.

Here is a link to an RX8 forum where they discussed this...

http://www.rx8club.com/archive/index.php/t-13806.html

And here is a step by step with a video clip:

Hope this helps!

I was told you could take it back to the dealer and demand it be removed by them for free. Never had to try it.

Going to try the hair dryer 1st..
Since this is a metal stamp emblem may be a bit trickier.

Thanks for the response.

I'll let you know how I make out..

Maybe since it is a metal stamp emblem it won't break off as easily as a vinyl sticker would?

No personal experience here, but slow and steady usually wins the race. Good luck.

Warm it up as shown in the video - then use dental floss to get behind the emblem and cut the adhesive. As you are doing that you can spray a little WD-40 behind the emblem to help loosen the adhesive. You don't want to pull up on one end of a metal emblem - it can rotate on the other end and scratch the paint.
