Does any1 know where to get these nice looking Z rubber mats? I've been trying to fish these for almost a year with no luck. I know Jarno that you had pair but i bet you would not sell them :)

These are aftermarket mats made by AMCO in the 1970s. They surface on ebay every now and then both NOS and used. The NOS versions usually sell in the $100-$150 range, used about half that. They were made with both the "240Z" and "DATSUN" logos on them.

I had a set in my car years ago. Very heavy rubber, fit perfectly. They also have a nasty tendency to trap moisture under them which is NOT good on a Z-Car! Zs don't need any help with the rust process! Today I prefer the logo carpeted mats sold by Motorsport Auto. Breathable, fit well, look great.

:)

I have a set of "Brand New" in the original box for sale. Look in the Cars and Parts section here for a picture. Let me know. Pete

They are 21" at the bottom and taper to 16" at the top. I think they would work. Let me know if you want them. Pete

(I think it's funny that they mark the box "FRAGILE, HANDLE WITH CARE". Floor mats are practically indestructible ~ angry gorillas couldn't hurt them.

Maybe something else was shipped in the box along with the mats?)

The one's that say DATSUN as shown - are for a 510 and they do not fit properly in the 240Z.

FWIW,
