So you know, not all 280 hatches are the same, 75-76 has a different width panel in the back than a 77-78, if that makes a difference for you. Also hope you didn't pay alot, I would of gave you one if you picked it up, but thats ok, if you need anything else let me know.

and as soon as the quarter panel gets welded in i should be beginning to primer and paint the car. my father in law has a sprayer and he said we could do a decent paint job outside. so i am going to go to a local shop and have them mix me up nissan monterey blue. :) i will be painted in ONE color before the fall outing.

i do have fit issue on the right side but i believe that is because my quarter panel is messed up on that side. the driver side lines up nice. it closes and stays closed which i am happy about.

So he had the 280 hatch on a 240, I see. So do I, but have the right size panel, so the only thing that's different is the screw holes for the second hatch strut.

nope that is a 240z hatch. i stuck on the 280z badge from my hatch. yeah i need to modify the right side to put my shock back on. one shock doesn't support the weight.

Fix that frame so the panels can be aligned properly before you paint the car...

I wonder if it will let exhaust leak into your cabin now? I've still got a minor problem with that.
