Post subject:  afm slit in boot
Was having rough starting and low low idling. Found a slit in the boot to the afm. I suspect this may be the problem.... Anyway I will need a new boot or a used one any ideas where one might find one?

A few years ago there was a 280zx intact at Chicks Used Auto Parts (junkyard) in mid-town Wallingford. I used to have pictures of it but those are on another computer. Our Webmaster Jim Hagani looked it over and pulled a few items from it; he might be able to tell you if it had a useable afm boot or not. He also has a 'spare' zx at home which he might be willing to part out. Webmaster (at) CTZCC.
Not that I'm volunteering him or anything....... :roll:

I forget where you are.....maybe Wallingford is too remote for you?

Duct Tape until you find one.........if you can post a picture I'll see if I have one, there are different styles depending on year or emissions and I have several.
