I'm looking for a 240z front bumper for a 73 Z. Would like to find a nice one but at this point any condition will do. It's the last part I need to finish a car that belonged to my late brother in law. Sat in the garage for 25 years. Hope to have it at Lime Rock on Sunday.

The 1973 bumpers were year-specific to those cars; no other year mounting brackets were the same.

You might decide whether you want to keep the car looking 1973-original (in which case you will need ONLY 1973 bumpers and parts), or use the bumpers from earlier cars which fit back further, snug against the body.

Thanks Frank, I have the 73 front brackets installed. So I figured a 73 bumper would be an easy bolt on. I'm open to an earlier year bumper if someone has one available. I can always modify the brackets.

here's a link to a picture of the car. Haven't figured out how to imbed the image.

I found that the bumpers are the same size, just the brackets are different. I sold the 73 bumper, also the only difference I found is it has mounting for the spacer that goes behind the bumper. I STILL have the Spacer if you want to be year correct. The spacer would have to be modified to the older bumpers, aka, mounting studs.

Being a often broke college student manifests itself in different ways. I ended up selling the front bumper off my 72 240Z a few months ago . Now that Ive gotten a taste of the bumper life, the front of my car feels empty. Does anyone have a slim front bumper and mounts for sale?
