Wondering if there are any L28ET 81-83 turbo L6 engines sitting for sale? I am just looking for a complete engine that was a runner.

Thanks.

I haven't been to Vinny's in so long I no longer know what he has left out there, but he had a few built L28s standing around at one time. (860) 355-182(nine).

Have you ever considered turbocharging an L-26?

Frank

Hey Clive, Keep looking on zcar.com, they pop up once in a great while, and seems like they are getting harder to find. If I see anything I'll keep you posted. I have one finally myself, but now it cost as much as Franks car. I got a lucky find with a 27k car. but keep looking there at zcar.com, there's a turbo part up there now, not sure what's left. Also depending on how far you want to go, might be one still available in Detroit.

"...but now it cost as much as Franks car.."

[BTW, for the record, inflation has raised the 2016 sale price for my 1970 240Z to $1,000,050 (one million fifty dollars), and it already has a 2819cc .20"-over 1978 F54 L28ET block with siameZed cylinders and tricked-out 10.25:1 compression big-valve head and Isky cam. Thank you]. 8)
