Its that time of year again so its time for another carb swap! Looking to buy two complete Round top SU carbs and the linkage in between them. Also looking for the backing for an air cleaner and a heat shield!

You change carburetors as often as the rest of us change socks. What's with Daphne, that she can't be happy with what she's got?

Its been a year and probably more than 10 different carbs and intake combinations have been on the car. A couple had some issues but the overwhelming majority had no issue. Im going to try for an SU setup with a throttle cable this time and see how that works out

I have a series one set up complete. 4 screw carbs. 40k for miles. (not separating) Or could piece something together for less. I have air cleaner backs, and shields, linkage, but I only seen one carb, but will look further.

I have a rebuilt set of 3-screw carbs and an older set of 4-screw carbs both on their intake manifolds with balance tubes, linkage etc. I also have a heat shield. Let me know if you want me to post some pics.

Matt

Hey Matt, are you still holding on to those roundtops, or are they gone already?

(7 years after this thread)
