The matte white primer hides everything! Im in the market for almost all the removable body panels but that will probably change depending on how well I can work body filler

Im looking to buy (or trade+ cash if someone wants some non rusty but dented body panels  ):

Cowl
L + R Fenders
L + R Headlight buckets (w/ studs)
Hood
240Z Passenger door

Probably not going to buy this all at once but if youre going to see a parts car or something dont forget about porkbun!

Would fiberglass fenders work for you?

Just sounds like two places I wont have to worry about rusting to me. Have they been previously fitted? I just did some searching and it sounds like it takes a bit of work get the fiberglass fenders to fit the body.

I dont care about paint or a little rust either. The problem is that I dont have the patience/skills/experience to do all this body work.

They have not been bolted but it looks as though someone has done some massaging to fit them. The inner supports need to be glued as they are getting loose. $200 and they are yours.

Here us my for sale thread.

Here are a couple pics of a couple spots that need a little repair.

Perhaps we can arrange something with another club member once the meetings and all the Z's have thawed? I still need to get the money together too

Sure that will work. The fenders are going nowhere fast!

Porlbun, are you saying you need a way to get them because of their sheer size?

A bit of both. Though I did make a similar trip over the summer the day I got my car running, im experimenting with the 4bbl (which im not very familiar with) and its a bit too cold to be stranded somewhere . Also trying to work up some expendable funds but it would be great if someone could pick them up and bring them a little closer

Why do you need a cowl? What's wrong with yours?

Will two fenders even fit the back of a Z? I may have to call on your services in the man van :o.

The cowl isnt rusty but I was using a wire wheel to remove all the primer and I went through a spot of body filler...which turned out to be much deeper than I thought. The passenger side of the cowl has a dip in the middle and im not confident in my body work skills to get it smooth. Instead of wasting time and bondo Id rather just replace it with another and maybe sell it to someone whos better at bodywork. Its not like any of these panels are unfixable but everytime I get it looking and feeling nice, I spray some gloss black on it and find out that its wavy and uneven. Just checked out cowl prices on ebay so I might have to just work the cowl out

I have a spare cowl left over from the 1971 Club Partz car. You'd have to trade me your old cowl (so it can go to the next racer who needs one) and make a small donation to the Club? Our rules were no part less than $5, no part more than $20. Comparing that to cowl prices on the net, you can't afford to pass this up.
