Just heard from the shop working on my car and they said the harness from the parts car I had is all hacked up. If you have one (preferably from a 73 if it matters) I need it badly and quickly.

YES ~ it matters. Stick with the year and model you're working on. Many of the wiring harnesses changed over the years. You *might* get lucky and find another year which would work, but I suspect you'd have better odds at being lightning-struck twice in the same day.
