Hi everyone - Having seen Phil's wonderful pictures from our fall outing, and having heard the nice stories that I had to share about it, I now have a family member who is very interested in owning his own mint 280zx or 300zx ('84-'86). He prefers a turbo version of either one, but will consider anything that is in excellent shape. Low mileage is a bonus, but good maintenance and overall condition are important as well.

So... who here has a gem of a car they'd be interested in letting go to the right buyer?? There's got to be someone out there!

Thanks for reading

Thanks Phil. I am reluctantly parting with it because I have my eye on another Z. It is really a great car.

Now if I only had a bigger garage.....

Beautiful Z, but unfortunately not an '84-86 (like I indicated in my post).

Now Phillllllll.... what about YOUR car? It fits the bill perfectly - everything has it's price, right :D

hey, why not check out tom wasneys' car in member rides. you will not find a cleaner ride than this one. runs very nice, and is very reliable. i have ridden in this car many times and his price is very affordable. that is factory paint and interior!!

I would grab the 1980 280zx on R.I. Craigslist. If your ears popped up knowing 1980, YES it is a anniversary edition, Black and Gold, #69, that's an interesting # Looks good in Pics, carpet looks dirty, but again, it just pics. There are other 280zx cars on R.I CL also other Z's as well, and other Datsun cars, plus a forklift. Good huntin grounds.......there are are alot of Z's just on R.I CL I would love to have ....if I had the money and space I'd defiantly would by 3 of what I see on there. Maybe 5. just type in Datsun.....then again type in 300zx and you will see more. By the way, it doesn't mean they are from up in the NE either, I got my 240 on RI CL and it made it's way here fresh from Cali.

+1 on Tom Wasney's red Z. That is a Z that has had some love and attention lavished on it. Well taken care of and documented, I wouldn't hesistate to buy it if I had the funds

Right ~ Tom's is the best I've seen. Greg E. offered one last year which was also outstanding, but I think that one's gone by now.

I'm stunned that Tom is even considering letting his baby go. He must have his eye on something really spectacular.
