I know of a nearly-perfect 260 automatic available right now, from a known member who cherished this car for years.

I found a 72 automatic, waiting for the guy to call back. Also another 72, but needs alot of work. If you want an automatic and can't find it, I'll sell you the tranni for $100, so keep that in mind. I have 2 of them.

I happen to know this quest has been satisfied. Irv found a nifty, 55,000 mile Nov/70 240Z and just received it off the transporter.

i has dual downdraught Webers, airconditioning, and an automatic transmission. He's quite happy and grateful to those who helped him look for an early Z.

He asked us to cancel the search.
