Hey guys my Z just started leaking gas all over my garage floor. I have an appointment tomorrow at Middletown Nissan to have it checked out and get the Diagnosis, but I am pretty sure that its the tank. Anyone out there had this problem before? I have been under the car and it looks like to replace it its going to be a nightmare. Well I am looking for a Good used tank or if someone has a resource for a new tank I would rathar go that route. Thanks for the help.

That's OK Chad, I'll swap it over to our shopping isle for you.

There ~ all set.

Hopefully you find out it's only a hose or your fuel pump or something cheaper than a tank. A few of the hoses on these tanks require you to drop the tank almost out of the car to reach them, tho (mine has one on TOP of the tank [a breather] which can't be reached any other way than by either dropping the tank completely out of the car or cutting a hole thru the cargo area)

Thanks for the encouragement... It looks like the whole rear end has to be dropped in this thing to get at the tank. Well I guess I know what my next big project is.

Yeah, buying more fire insurance.

If you have a hot water heater in your garage, move the car OUTSIDE. Even the spark from a light switch can cause a garageful of fuel vapors to blow. Open some windows and air that place out even before starting your Z. Don't even work the electric garage door yet.

car is outside now, no incident. Thanks again.... Wow that could have been bad. I think I would be more upset losing my Z then losing my Condo. Gotta have priorities.
