Looking for the above for my 85Zx, believe later model Z31's are different and won't work in the earlier cars, posting a pic below, # stamped on the side of mine is 0225D2, this is the only external marking on it, internal plug in the side of the unit has 3 male connector prongs, wired connector hanging off the unit has a plug with 6 male connector prongs.... PM me if anyone has one available.... Thanks, Tom

If you can't find one on Rockauto or autopartswarehouse.com, go to the Nissan parts dept. at a local dealer. A while ago I needed an ignition relay for my '78 Z and couldn't find it anywhere. When I read off the part number to the guy at the desk he plugged it into his computer and found it. Had it within two days.

Call Dominic at the parts counter, Barbarino Nissan in Wallingford. 203-265-5099. Only deal with Dominic ~ he knows the Z cars best.

Tell him you got his name from this Club.

Tom, when I get back home I'll check mine out. The original radio is gone, and I don't care for the electric antenas.

Shoot Tom, I forgot you needed that, but glad you're all set at $10, that's great.

Got one out of a little later Maxima also, plugged the unit in and powered on the radio, only got a little bumpity bump jump out of the mast... The later model actually has an extra lead and is color coded differently, rewired the wrong one to the correct color code, unhooked the extra lead and taped it up, now works even better than the one out of the 86 ZX.. The ZX unit was not allowing full travel of the mast, now it works perfectly, double YAY..........

My antenna automatically goes down all the way, a flag would get knocked off or chewed up, come on Paul I just got it working again.....

Make a little extension on top of the antenna, so the flag never goes all the way down. It will always show.

Nobody else's antennas go up or down, anyway! Tom's got the only one that works!

Well I have a $10 replacement solid steel one, so don't have to worry about that. :D
