The motor in the driver's power window gave out last night. No movement of the window. I think I need the regulator and the motor for 88 300zx 2door coupe. Not sure if these changed across z31 series. Have to do some research. Let me know if you have anything. Cheerio ! 8)

Before condeming it, put power directly to the motor and make shure it is bad. There is always a chance of something else, like bad circuit breaker, fuse, broken wire, etc....

If you can't source a Z motor, an older Maxima motor from the pass side door will fit the driver side window, just needs to be reversed, BTDT, got one in the junkyard for mine..... Tom

Got the regulator and motor from this 87 car in Somers. Installed last week. Beats the prices for new and used online. Not much left of the 87, motor and tranny out. Inside is trash.

Thanks for the thoughts Tom, I had wondered if the parts were interchangeable. 8)

Good job Kevin, looks like that parts car went a lot of miles, the armrest on the console is almost nonexistant, saw an 87 a few years ago in my area that had 300k on her, was such a rut worn in the arm rest from all the shifting the owner had done with it... Think I got the Maxima swap info from Z31.com when I had my 87 2+2, was pleased to find out it can be swapped, at least the pass side doesn't get as much use as the driver side window motor... good to keep in mind..... Good luck with your project.......

There's almost always parts for sale on the Z31 forums, if it's tough to find something.
