From Gary Williams (no relation :))

Hi Z'all,
They are good for the small families!!
I'e had a couple Z's and 1 was a 2+2, it was fun driving around with the 5 yr. old daughter buckled up in the back..... I'd like to find a more "solid' car without the motor and tranny in it, to put my "good" parts into. I have some serious frame rail issues, and floor board repairs in order..... other than that, it runs pretty good......after all I've been through with "her"..... I guess it's easy to become addicted to them! Does anyone know of a good floor board repair kit or site to checkout? Thanx in advance.

That's a good question Frank. The car is stored at my parents house for the winter, but if I remember I will check tomorrow. I liked to think it is the same for right and left hand drive.
I will confirm and get back to u.
Sorry I am not more in tune with my car.
thanks, Jim

Frank,
I'm glad I checked the fairlady for u. The sticker/car info that u were asking about is actually on the driver side of a right hand drive car.
i guess that would make sense right.
:D
i hope this helps
Jim

I just wanted to say thank u to everybody
that helped me.
I ended up finding a car I did not think I would want, but after seeing and driving it.I found my search to be over.
I realized that I was not going to find a 1st gen or 2 gen z
this clean for the money so I went with a
1989 300zx 5spd (dark grey)not sure of correct color name
super clean and no rust
for the price I was willing to spend.

Thanks again, Jim Jackson
:D

Good to hear Jim, nothing wrong with that. I'll have a 86 for a daily driver when I'm finished. (p.o. busted timing belt so got it cheap,) so Just make shure the timing belt is done, very critical with these 300's.

Paul, what are you thinking?

If you ever stopped working on Z cars, you'd have to get a hobby!
