Hi Gang,

I need one of the 4 port brake thingies that mounts to the firewall, they started using these on the 73 240Z and I think continued to use them through the 280Z and maybe beyond.

Oh - for clarity, this is NOT the brake warning switch, that part has the terminal sticking out the top. Also not the early Z style valve - which mounts in back near the fuel tank. Neither of these.

Almost any condition will do as I am going to gut it and just use it to connect the brake lines (tapping & plugging the inside so the front and rear lines don't share the same pressure!)

And of course I want to pay next to nothing for it...

Hi Murf ~

It's been two months. How'd you do on this? Any help?

If not, I want you to know there are several Series-1 Z cars rusting away at CHICK's junkyard in Wallingford. Several of us have been there pulling parts off them in the past. There was a '71 240, some 280s and some ZXs.

I'm unfamiliar with that part, so I don't know if it would be found there or not.

Frank

I take it the ones I gave you were not it. :( I'll look some more, and see if I can find it. Of course it's getting like looking for a needle in a Z stack.
