Hi fellow Datsun lovers, my son and I are still working the restoration of our '71 521 pickup. We are probably about 60% there but as you know from past experience, that last 40 % to complete is the big challenge (time, money and needed parts).
I've scouted for a while a bench seat with the shifter recess in the lower cushion that were found in the 620 truck series 1972-75?
I only need a decent frame, the rest we'll redo as new. I can travel or follow up on any leads you come across, drop me an email and i'll run it down. I've reviewed info as far as the Carolinas. Best bet is a truck sitting somewhere rusting away out of service.
A cleaner 521 tailgate would be a benefit for bodywork.
Thanks for any help, if you spot a 620 and don't know the seat info, just jot down the location and I'll pursue it.
