Apparently the world is out of rebuilt calipers for 1982 ZX non turbo. Anyone have one where the piston is not seized? Need front passenger side. Have mounting bracket just need a caliper. Thanks!

Welcome aboard, JS! We've seen you signed-in as our latest join for awhile and were hoping you'd eventually say something.

Vinny Bedini probably has a few of them at his speed shop. Call him in New Milford at (860) 355-182nine. Tell him you just joined the Club.

Don't feel like the Lone Stranger; the entire world's supply of used car parts seems to have dried-up. Happily, you are asking for something which is pretty commonly available.

Feel free to make an entry on our NEW MEMBER INTROS and tell us a little about yrslf and your 280zx. Glad to have you aboard.

Frank T

Hi
Thanks for the info I will give him a call.
I have been searching for the part and through that process I see what you mean by scarce parts. We just got our 280 ZX a few weeks back and luckily it is a real survivor one owner so we shouldn’t need too much. Just breaking it down now replacing carpet and suspension that have molded and seized due to sitting. Our last rebuild was a 67 Mustang so when we needed parts we would just run up to Hartford to Mustangs unlimited and pick up what we needed. I see now this will be a little more challenging. Thanks for your help!!

Our Lawn Guyland member Howie found an absolutely pristine survivor in a barn. He washed it off and has been driving and winning trophies with it for about 5yrs now.
Some guys have all the luck.

Show it to him, Howie.

Frank

Did you try Rock Auto? They even had rebuild kits. I might have one if needed still, let me know and I will look.
