Id recommend considering this if you have a useable hood to modify. Aluminum lovers for $99, they even come with the cutting templates too according to the ad. That seems like an economical way to do it.

Some V8 conversion guys simply louver the whole hood.
See if you can contact Paul in RI by Private Mail. He has lots of parts.
