When I first got my Z and cleaned out the heater compartment where the blower goes it was filled with lots of junk. I think the cold finally got to the motor.

Wait ~ is it completely dead now, or does it still spin some? If it responds at all, you have current running to the motor so your fuses are OK.
If you have a bad bearing or something dragging against the drum, that could cause some connection to overheat and blow a fuse.
In your fusebox, check all the fuses (esp any marked HEAT or COMMON). Make sure it isn't a 15 cent fix before you buy a $60 motor.

Yep dead. And there is no heat fuse. I checked the fuses and they look good. Is there a relay or something? I'm pretty sure the motor is shot.

Check the fan SWITCH. They have been known to come loose or go bad.

funny I just thought about that when I got in the Z this morning. I'll check the switch.

I always put battery power directly to a motor to test it. It's the quick way to know if it even is the motor. Could be fuse, relay, wiring or a switch if the motor works. Also, if a blower motor works just on Hi, (in most cases), the blower resistor is bad, (if equipped.)
