OK, I don't really know what to call these things. On the 240Z cowl, the five little "finger/tabs" slide into oval slots along the firewall. Those slots each have a little rubber (or neoprene) oval (like a mashed donut) which keeps the finger/tabs from rattling around in there and keeps water from going where it isn't supposed to.

I need at least four good rubber ovals, and the actual parts name/nomenclature if anyone knows it?

Thanks for any help.

Frank

COWL GROMMETS

They are available from Black Dragon, MSA and Nissan (last I looked).

Frank, let me know if you can't get them, I may have some used ones around here......

Cowl grommets, $5 each from MSA or Black Dragon.

Thank you all.

John, if you have some for sale, I would rather keep this in the family if possible. They're for Thor in Germany ~ somehow his disappeared when they painted his 240.

Nissan terminology: fastener grille, P/N 66815-E4100, $13.65 for five at Courtesy Nissan. Try ordering them thru your local Nissan dealer with ship-to-store option to avoid shipping charges. I've got mine for the very same reason that John mentioned!
