So I got lucky a couple of weeks ago and picked up a working eccs analyzer and it came with the diagnostic card but no manual.
Yes, I know most procedures are covered in the factory service manual but I'd still like the operating manual for the unit.
So I'm wondering if anyone has one they'd be willing to part with or get copied and send to me. Of course I'd be willing to foot any reasonable sum for this.

Thanks in advance.

Doug

Doug, I happen to have an ECCS analyzer with the instruction manual. It would be my pleasure to make a copy for you. I'll get back to you.

BTW Doug, I've attached a link to a website which contains a number of scanned 280zx manuals. The Factory Service Manual for your 1982 is there in PDF form. A very handy document. There are also a number of other interesting manuals. He also has the Nissan FAST part identification software used by most Nissan parts counters up until a few years back. Unfortunately, he does not have ECCS manual you're looking for.

I've located my copy of the 87 page ECCS manual and will copy it for you Monday at the office. You can email me your mailing address and I'll get it out to you ASAP --> phil280zxt@hotmail.com, .

Sorry guys, no way I'm gonna make it down in the coming week.

I'm in the middle of a MAJOR meltdown of systems a local radiologist had and working 18-20 hrs a day at the moment trying to recover data and put it all back together.

Even had to cancel my weekend at the beach.

I had hoped earlier to make it down to your Middletown show but that fizzled too. Gotta make hay while the sun shines.

Anyway, I do promise I will make it down to some event in the future.

This pic was taken 10 minutes after I bought her.

Phil, email next and thanks.

WOW.

Really nice ZX. (Phil, you might have some serious competition here! )

I personally like the twin 'rabbit ears' CB antennas! Hope you kept them on there!

I don't see the rust. Where's the rust?

3 Guesses Frank

Floors. which doesn't scare me, I did em on both 240's and they were only about 5 years old when I did. Postwar Jap Steel

I think I might find some issues elsewhere too. Some bodywork was done at some point. A lil cutting , grinding welding, some cleanup, no big deal. We'll see when I get into her this fall.

I have friends who are fabricators, old car guys, plenty of talent to draw on if I need it.

It's a 30 year old car so my paradym was "Look for the best, expect LOTS of surprises and be prepared to redo EVERYTHING" So no worries.

This will go to my grandson in 20 years or so and should be worth some good money by then I think so even a 25G rebuild doesn't really bother me as long as it's right. If need be I'll put her on a rotisserie for a year to do it and figure anything less is a bonus.

I see you do have it already, an 81 turbo, forget my last post. Keep me in mind for parts if needed. As far as body panels, I have doors, fenders, hatches, and T-tops. There's a Z show by Boston in 2 weeks so you know.
