There's a posting on the New York Z Car Clubs website for a one owner, all original, 74,000 mile 260Z. It posted March 8, 2020 and asking a stout $14,000.

Not stout at all. These cars are the most-rare S30 cars, since they were only made available to us for a single model year. The early 6 months of 1974 had lightweight bumpers and flattop SU carbs, The later 6 months had park-bench bumpers and some had fuel injection. The autotrans was available for the 260 and it was the first Z to offer the 2+2 seating arrangement. Because they were considered more like "family GT cars" than "sports cars", fewer people modified them. You stand a far better chance of finding a perfect original 260Z today than you do finding a perfect original 240Z.

More can be done with the "square" 260Z engine than with the L24 or L28. Now that the 240 has become a classic and the prices are going thru the overhead, all the other Zs are enjoying trickle-down value increases. The 260s will continue to climb in value. In my humble opinion, the very last drivable S-30 Z car in the world will eventually be a 260Z 2+2, and somebody already owns it today.

Here's what Jeff Fox has to say about his friend's 260Z. The car is for sale in Schenectady NY for $14,000:

"One owner all original survivor 260z. No a/c. The only thing that's been done non-factory is undercoating that was done immediately after purchase. The Ziebart was applied to engine compartment as well as undercarriage, but not the firewall.
The paint is faded but is original, with the exception of right fender painted after fender bender. I'm helping a friend who is moving. There aren't many like this one around.
We don't want to go to Bring a Trailer. We want someone in the Z community to give this baby a good home. Hopefully it will be maintained as an original car. The photos that I originally posted were not recent, but were the actual car. The car has not driven for 7 years. For full disclosure, if it doesn't get snatched up by the time my friend moves, I will buy it. This is from the original owner:
1974 ½ 260Z
Original Purchase date: March 24, 1975 Stephen Datsun, Inc. Bristol, CT
Vin # RLS30066726 Manufactured 11/74.
Estimated number of 1974 ½ 260Z Datsuns manufactured for the US Market 3,000 to 5,000. (from Hemmings- Datsun 260Z 03/01/2007)
Originally a daily driver for 4 to 5 years. Occasionally driven since then but mostly stored in a garage.
Total mileage: 74,213
Car is original except for Ziebart Undercoat added 8/26/75.
Original Datsun Guarantee Card, Key, Driver’s Manual, and Factory Service Manual are included.
Have many service records.
Major Replacements/Repairs:
Fender repair minor accident 03/28/77 33991 Miles
New Head and Valve Job 07/18/83 59757 Miles
New Master Cylinder and brakes 08/13/93
New Clutch Master and Slave cylinders 06/03/94 72727 Miles
New brake hoses 05/10/96 73059 Miles
New Clutch and Flywheel resurfaced 07/24/00
New exhaust system 10/12/00 73519 Miles.
I took these photos yesterday. We didn't clean the car, so this is the down and dirty. I took photos of under carriage but forgot to bring a jack so they're not perfect. I will be posting the photos of the undercarriage as soon as I can upload from camera to computer".
