This is an early 73 built 260z, that was garaged most of it's life. The sun damage on the rear is from the garage window it sat behind. It is located in R.I. and I'm just doing the lady a favor and try to put this out there. So unless I'm mistaken, one owner, passed away, gave it to the son, then passed away, now the mother would like to sell it. I looked it over and gave her an estimated value of the car , and a price she shouldn't go below, so I'll leave that up to whoever, to just make a good offer. It runs, it's low mileage, and it's clean. The only requirement is you have to bring it around to some of the CTZCC meets. Contact Barbara at 401-644-7779

Geee, what an excellent summer project! That looks like all it needs is some cleaning-up. Where is the rust?

For people who know about the 260s, this is the car they seek. Still carburetted, still lightweight bumpers, under 30,000 miles  , no visible rust, side lamps still outside the grille; a rare car made for the first HALF of only one production year. The 260 everyone prefers, if they look for 260s.

A day inside with McGuires or Mothers and a light brush would have that white interior daZZling. The car looks completely stock, something you hardly zee anymore today. A set of new floor mats and you look like the car came out of 1974.

This could be a driver, a showcar or an investment, or all of the above. I sure hope it ends up here in the Club.

Always good to see a deserving Z find a loving and caring family. Is your buddy a wrench? Did you tell him about the mandatory Membership clause?

 So cool. It's a good find, I'm sure he is super thrilled. What I like about this one is I have the same exact one in pieces and I have 95% of all the parts, bumpers and rubber included. Same color paint, same interior, and mine is the second run on the assembly line, and I believe this one here is the first run.

I don't know if Carl Beck has 260 VIN records or production figures or not, but the VIN of any 260 should tell you how many others were made before it. They only made them for one year (here), and I think those made for other countries might have been RHDs, making it fairly easy to determine when the car was actually made. Did you ever show the VIN or production date? I missed it.
