I remember in about 1975-76 the Bob Sharp Racing catalog (a rather crude, heavy paper affair with B&W hand-sketched drawings, available monthly in the waiting room of my local Datsun dealer) offered Bilstein shocks for whomever wanted the very best road performance from their Z. They always seemed to be the most-expensive items listed in the catalog. I loved those catalogs and hoarded as many of them as I could get. I don't recall throwing any of them away but haven't seen one in decades. I would love to find my stash and share them here. Like Irv says, anyone who was serious about is Z's handling mounted Bilsteins. |
