Can you post a picture of this R-180? Also a picture of the ring gear with the ratio stamp showing?

 Gulp :!: Well I'll be dammed. Thanks for pics. What is your fair price, if you don't mind me asking? I personally don't need it, because I'm installing the R-200 version, But GUYS, Look at this. If you still have your R-180 set up, unlike me, here is a rare item to give you some more get up go. Very nice condition. Thank you so much for the pics. It's actually the first one I've seen, I appreciate that.

I have a spare 3:73 R180 already but I wish I had the cash for this one.
Looks really clean. Any bearing issues?

Pair this up with an early 5 speed transmission for a big improvement in 0-60 time! Love my 3.90

Better Yet is the Zx transmission from 81-83. Smoother downshift from 3rd to 2nd is what I like about it, plus a little better on the highway. Also, the early 5 speed is a 4 speed turned into a 5-speed and has a week 5th/reverse gear. So go easy on it.

Is this still available? If so I'd gladly take it.

 8)

That's a thing of beauty. Don't forget to install a white ("19 tooth") speedometer gear in your transmission now. The speedo gears depend on the differential ratio, not on anything else.

I appreciate the good information Frank, thank you.

Just last year I renewed my speedometer pinion with fresh o rings. When I did I chipped part of my roll pin off (that retains the plastic gear). Any recommendations for a source for those?
