Paul, white seats and door panels are excellent, say 8.5/10. Same for quilted white vinyl.

Frank, a fellow from NJ (and also a CTZCC member I believe) has taken the chassis, doors, fenders and hood in an effort to restore the old Phoenix.

All in all, this 240Z lived a short life from 1972 to 1977, went into a 38 year sleep and then donated its organs so other Zs can live on. Winner all around!

Well, if he's actually going to restore it, he should have bought the original dash too (or at least the VIN tag), so he could show the same VIN.

Off subject: did you catch the mention of Jason Winget riding thru here on his 33-state journey around the perimeter of the USA? He drove a 1970 RHD Fairlady Z (a real HS-30) and when we examined it, we noticed that the windscreen VIN plate was not part of the dash, but rather part of the car window frame itself. His dash had no number; if he removed it, the VIN number would have stayed with the car.
