Our Rochester member John T sends us this hot news:
* * * * * * * ** * * *

Hey everyone! I am about to begin parting out an '82 280ZX turbo here. Lots of great parts, 99k on the odo. Analog dash, BW T5 tranny, R200 3:54, F54/P90 head with a cam, short shifter, almost new Tokico blue rear shocks and springs, working radio/instruments, good t-tops, seats surprisingly nice.

Tear down will begin this weekend OR you can come and pull it yourself for a discount. Let me know if you want anything.

If I understand it correctly, John will autograph any part you buy for an additional $25.
I'll also autograph them for an additional $50. 8)
Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! :lol:

Hey everyone....

If you would like to contact me for any parts off of this 1982 280ZX Turbo GLL, email me at:

zcarnut@hotmail.com

I'd be happy to ship reasonably sized parts, large parts will have to be picked up or arrangements made. Everything still available except for the short shifter and the heating/AC relays.

Thanks!

John tells me this has been a rawthur successful part-out. The car was literally cut into pieces (that leakproof roof was needed) and is now gone, gone. John still has a wheelbarrow full of important parts remaining for those who need them:

"The 1982 280ZX turbo has now gone to the big junkyard in the sky BUT some parts are still available!

Sold are: turbo, exhaust manifold, injectors, distributor, pedal box, windshield trim, master vac, rear struts, transmission. Pretty much everything else still up for grabs including ECU, most interior tan trim pieces, radio, gauges, tailights, electronic modules, "bitchin Betty", power steering pump, turn/lights/wiper switches, complete lockset, intake manifold, window regulators with motors, set of 15" Swastika wheels, two 14" six point wheels, etc, etc. Please message me and post here for notification with needs!

She's a donor, so others can live on.

Seriously folks, we can learn something from this. Please consider becoming an organ donor. :)

My hypothesis is you rolled it up onto the trailer, then removed the wheels (jack in the foreground), which necessitated having the Picker snatch it directly off the trailer. 8)

Glad he removed "Betty".
It would get scary if your refrigerator told you when the door was open. :shock:
