So spill the beans...did anyone here grab this? Seemed like a great deal if no rust - apparently sold last night:

It looks like Zorro's old car. I recall this car coming in late if I'm not mistaken (accompanied by a wild Barney-Purple Z), and one of them was shaking the ground at idle. I was busy and never got a chance to actually pore over either car, but remember thinking it was odd that after all that great work, it was left with a single mirror. At least one of their hoods was open as I hurried past enroute to someplace else and I glimpsed a "Testa Rosa" effect under the hood, with a red-painted cam cover? Might have been the wild purple car which had that. They arrived and parked as a team waaaayyyy down at the end (Ultra Modified area), but I don't know if that was because it was a Mod or if there just wasn't enough room left for it in the other categories by then. They were so late, we started the raffle just a few minutes after they arrived. I'm sure they didn't arrive in time to be judged (too bad, too!) and I don't zee any pictures of the two of them together, so Phil had probably already relocated to the awards table by then. Notice there's no entry paperwork on the windscreen, indicating they arrived too late to be judged. We might not even have ID paperwork on them. I didn't even get a picture of it, myself. Nice choice on the new wheels/tires and the overall effect is outstandingly clean.

Maybe the owner will sound-off when (s)he sees this Post and tell us more about the car. Filipe probably snatched a ton of photos of it, tho ~ he seems interested in this picture. If that WAS Zorro's old car, Filipe and Porkbun both know it well.

Frank
