I need to clear up space and decided to sell some of the stash of parts I've accumulated over the past couple of decades. I have more stuff...this is the first wave to go. Unfortunately I don't have the time to box these up and ship them, so these are local pickup only in Hamden. First cash takes them.

1970 2400 OHC VALVECOVER. Mildly polished and very original....SOLD

1970 E31 HEAD. $65
I pulled this from a 240Z parts car around 1999. Once home I pulled the cam and rockers out along with several valves to clean it up and lost interest so it went in storage. It came with a stock cam. This was rebuilt by the PO as the cam towers each have 2 shims which measure about .040" total…which means it was also likely shaved .040”. Normally putting a E31 on a flattop L28 would make a mean track racer, compression around 11:1. With the shaving its going to be way above 11:1...you’re gonna need racing gas. NOTE: you'll need to supply new rocker arms. (I have the spray bar, valves and springs)

PAIR OF 1976-78 280Z DRIVESHAFTS. Joints feel tight, I'll be polishing the yoke journals to clear off any grunge. $15 ea.

Image

PAIR OF R200 HALFSHAFTS. These came out of my own R200. Boots are solid, ujoints were replaced a few years ago. Sorry no inner flanges for the differential. $15 each

Image

1978 280Z CLOSE-RATIO 5-speed. SOLD.
I ran this in my 240 for several years. No issues when pulled it out. The shifter has been shortened and uses a stock knob. Speedometer cog is a white one for a 3.90. Fork and boot included but the fork retainer clip is missing. Nissan shows it as as 30534-E9000. You can also get it at http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/21-2120.

1983 280ZX WIDE RATIO 5-speed. Pulled from a parts car so I can't vouch for its condition. Yes I have the shifter. Clutch fork included but the fork retainer clip is missing. Nissan shows it as as 30534-E9000. You can also get it at http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/21-2120. SOLD

Image

BUNCH O' CARBS. One incomplete set of 1970 SUs, pair of floats, and all the bits you see here. No needles. $60.Great for parts.

Image

1970-73 240Z STEERING COLUMN. Straight and not twisted. $35

Image

L28 front covers. As is. $10 takes them all.

Image

WINDSHIELD COWL. Straight, some rust in a couple of spots. $25

Image

EARLY CARB HEAT SHIELD. This came off the same car as the E31 head above. I've seen this called a "1969" model. It was in nice shape but I painted it with aluminum paint a few years ago. $25.

Image

260Z N36 INTAKE. The N36 has been long rumored to flow more CFM because it was designed for the larger displacement engine. I ran this one for years on my L28. I can dig up the balance tube I think. $35

Image

PAIR OF FIBERGLASS ROCKER PANELS. Like new, Never fitted or cut. $60

Image

280ZX TURBO VALVE COVER. Thicker than the other valve covers, actually quietens down the valvetrain noise. The brass fitting unscrews from the breather to convert it back to stock. $15.

Image

VALVE COVERS. Take all three of these off my hands. SOLD

Image

WIPER MOTOR. I believe this came off a 280Z. Still worked the last time I applied power. $15

Image

CENTERFORCE II CFT583402 CLUTCH- Pressure Plate and Disc- $50
I bought this clutch for my Weber upgrade a couple of years ago to go on my L28. After driving on it for 300 miles I decided I liked the softer engagement of the OEM clutch and put it back on the shelf. No abuse, its like new. Please don't ask me if this fits your car...check the Centerforce website for fitment questions.

I'm interested in the 83 transmission and the rocker panels. Going through CT on Thursday and returning Saturday.

PM me Paul. I'm off thurs/fri.

I've adjusted the price on the '83 trans slightly because I located the shifter.

I'm interested in some valve covers…at least 1 of the cheaper ones. Been trying to source one for a while for a small project.

Do you still have the 5-speed gear box?
