Our friend Tom at R&M Autobody in Newington is moving his shop and has a stash of 240Z parts that won't be making the trip with him.

If someone is willing and able, please collect them from Tom by May 30th or else they are heading for the dumpster.

If you are interested and would like to contact Tom, please PM me for Tom's phone number.

Thanks!

- Jim

Spoke with Tom and will drive up to view what Z parts he has this week.
Will post full info here when I have it.

Some of that stuff looks reusable, but others are not.

Based on the steering wheel, reduction-gear starter and seatbelt retractors, I suspect this is actually a 1976 280Z.
Anyone interested? I can't use any 280 parts so I won't be going after all.

Frank

So I talked to Tom, and will be leaving this morning to pick up these parts. I also happen to fall into doing a favor for him. He was trying to get this door from a junk yard in Tiverton RI for a truck he is working on, and they only take cash, so I will be delivering him this Chevy Silverado door. Don't you like when plans come together. Nice day for a ride as well. 8) So more cheap Z parts for club members. :D

Well another truck load of Z parts to add to the collection. I think they sat around for 20 or so years.......when I took off in my truck a blanket of dust filled the road. I see stuff from as early as series one up to some 280zx parts. I finally got my metal headlight buckets....so I'm happy. So still have boxes to go through. Didn't spend a lot of time looking, just load and go. The sad part, (not Z related)....I took a side road to avoid rt 4 in RI, not knowing I was avoiding the accident at that time..........It was a man trying to fix his muffler on his bmw and it fell on him killing him........he worked with my wife. :(
