I am guessing that this seller is mistaken the year of this car. It is clearly not a series 1. I am betting that it might be a late model 1971 or an early 1972.

I've been in contact with the owner, it's a 1973, VIN 152,000++++

Appears to be a parts car only (you can hear it rusting in the pics!) claims to have lots of parts to go with it but looking for way to much $.

Adam had it exactly right.

Note the sail panel (upper rear quarter panel): It has the flow-thru air outlet up
there, without the ornamentation. Unless the entire panel has been replaced,
this could only mean that it is a Series 2. Which in turn means that it is at least
a 2/71 production date, and at least a 22000+ VIN #.

Hope this guy wasn't trying to "pull a fast one" on some unsuspecting newbie
who didn't know the difference and fell for the bait.
