1986 Nissan 300zx 2+2 in "Hot Red", 5 speed stick with 125k

This is an all stock daily driver that recently broke its timing belt with probable related engine damage.

I'm not interested or able to change it at this time and I'd like to sell it as-is.

I don't want to part it out. If you want it, you'd need to take the whole car.

The car is located in Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

It would make a great Club parts car if a few Z31 guys chipped in??

The body is pretty good with only a tiny amount of rust on the rear of the fenderwells.

Interior and all glass and lighting is good.

All accessories work.

T-tops with no leaks.

Ice cold A/C.

The clutch was done about a year ago.

In the last six months, the exhaust, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and alternator were done.

The tires have about 20k left on them.

I have clear title and keys.

Up until the belt went, it's been a real dependable car. I drove it to North Carolina and back this past summer.

The car needs to go by this weekend or it gets donated for the tax deduction, but I wanted to offer it up here first.

Back in the early 2000's, I showed this car a couple of times at the Bob Sharp fall Zcar show.

Any offers????

Thanks,

Jim More

Yea, they are a nice car until the Timing Belt breaks. Needs to be done at 60,000 miles, or if older than 10 years and hasn't reached the mileage yet, I would do it anyways because of age. NO questions asked. Keep me on your last scenario list........I buy parts cars, but a z31 with a blown engine....not at that price, for me, but do give it a try, I'm sure it's worth it, to someone who is willing to do a top end rebuild, It's gona need Valves I'm sure, then, hopefully a Piston didn't get cracked. Let me know in the summer, if you still have then, and just want to dump it off. I'll pay fair market price. Some pics for show when you get a chance. Sorry this Happened, I know it sucks. :(
