Up for grabs is the last part of the exhaust, meaning the piece after the Y pipe including a muffler for a 240z. It has some surface rust but is perfectly usable. I want to say that it is 2.5" or 3".

I think that the muffler is a magnaflow and on the quiet side.

I got the exhaust and muffler from Frank a while back but I ended up using the MSA exhaust.

Frank can you provide more details?

First come first served.

Well Marc, let's zee what I remember of that exhaust system.

It was on my 02807 when I bought it in 2008. It was very solid but too quiet, and I had other plans.

I remember it as being a 3" heavy duty straight-back pipe. You kept the header and use it on your car today. This single pipe was mounted with a large, very quiet MagnaFlow or FlowMaster muffler (farrrr to pedestrian for my taste), which was very costly when bought new.

The pipe was carefully cut as far forward as possible, to allow re-use. The whole system had fewer than 1,000 miles on it from new when I replaced it with the MSA Twice Pipes system. Before I gave it to you, it was stored standing on end, so all moisture had the chance to flow out of it and not rust the insides.

Let me restate that: this long 3" exhaust pipe and MagnaFlow or FlowMaster muffler are nearly 10 years old, but have fewer than 1,000 miles on them.

The quiet muffler itself has to be worth at least 100 times what you're asking for it. 8)

Frank

Trying to consider whether I could use this on the green #171 car,
on which the ORIGINAL exhaust broke last year. If the original can't
be spliced back together in some way...................

I don't know about the availability of ORIGINAL exhaust components
or replacements nowadays, so that might be interesting..................

I know somebody out there needs a free exhaust for a 240z. Bumping this back up. I will be coming up to CT soon and can bring this bad boy with me if somebody wants it. Otherwise, I will list it on CL locally for free.
