Our member Tom Wasney, ever on the lookout for still more Z cars, found this interesting item currently listed on Craig'sList ~

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/1602136409.html

Can't say I ever even saw Bob riding in a 2+2, but if he ever did, ostensibly here it is.

Frank

OH, YES, YES INDEED, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!-- It was STUNNING! All painted
up in the same red, white, and blue format/motif/design as the race cars,
but without the "33" and other stuff.

I was allowed to drive it home and use it for a couple of days a couple of
times. Come to think of it, that was BEFORE I successfully bid on the 13
car; do you think there might have been any connection?

Yup, it had dealer plates on it but WASN'T used as a demo from the
time it was repainted. I'm wondering whether that was GHLS30-01669
(1/75), which I have recorded as Bob Sharp's "demo."

FWIW GHLS30-000538 (12/74) was Bob Holley (office mgr's) demo;
GHLS30-005503 was Hugh (Huge) Fiore (sales mgr's) demo, might also
have been one of those, repainted, when removed from demo service.

Each of the mgrs got a demo to drive home-to-work, which car was used
during the day as an actual demo for prospective buyers of the particu-
lar model. Then once a car reached 3000 miles it was retired from demo
service and sold (or perhaps repainted as described above?)

This one is an '83 model ~ would that be right? Bob was pretty busy racing by then......
