As mentioned in my project thread, once the car was picked up and looked over it was decided it is just too far gone to save. Between the signs that the car was once hit hard in the front, the battery tray area damage and the obliteration of the drivers side frame rail it is a lost cause. The good news is the car has a ton of goodies that may breathe life into other projects :)

Most of the parts are still on the car and I will be pulling them as the week goes on and posting pictures. If anybody has a request for parts that aren't listed or misc. sheetmetal, let me know and I will do my best to get them to you. The car will be heading to the wrecker come Monday the 23rd. The PO has several loads of parts that I will be picking up next month after the wedding is out of the way and done with. I will update when everything is in, but it should include two unknown motors, a 4 speed trans, new gas tank, uncracked dash and a ton of misc. trim/parts.

Parts are OBO, let me know if the prices are way off.

R/L fiberglass fenders with emblems-good shape with no real damage: $100

Quilted interior vinyl trim-This was successfully pulled out of the car with no rips or tears. Will clean up before sale but in strikingly good shape. No clue what to ask for it, just make an offer :)

Headlight buckets/headlights-One glass, the other metal with a bit of rust on the interior edge. $30

Chrome windshield trim-Includes the two corner clips, the straight clip and all three long pieces. Good shape, unbent $25

Quarter Panels-Both are straight, clean and rust free. Excellent replacement parts for anybody needing them.
Currently on car but I will be cutting them out before it goes to scrap. $100 for the pair or $60 per sound fair?
Pending to theZman/EvilZ

Cowl panel-only rust is light surface rust on the back side, otherwise perfect condition: $75?

260/280Z inspection doors- Both in decent shape: $20
Pending to Cygnus

Rear hatch-Glass is good with no cracks/chips, one spot of rust along the bottom edge of the glass in the center: $50
Pending to theZman

Dash and instrumentation-Dash has a couple sizeable cracks, gauges are in unknown operating condition but should be good for parts or somebody wanting to build/restore a fiberglass dash: $50?

R/L Sun visors-in good shape, original and should clean up quite nicely: $20?

Door cards-Great shape considering, will snap some pictures after a clean up. Will include crank handles and any other misc. hardware. $30?

Original dome light-Looks clean, should work with a new bulb. $15?

Wooden rim steering wheel-Restoration project. Needs to be refinished but in solid shape. Includes any hardware requested from the column. No clue what this is worth, how does $30 sound?

R/L Doors-Comes with glass, locks, hardware, etc. Rusting out along the bottom but close perfectly with a solid thunk. Good for parts or maybe worth patching up: $30/side

Front bumper-Not sure if it is worth saving but posting it up in case anybody wants it. Would be a good candidate if you wanted to paint it. Couple dings to knock out, a few spots of rust that need repair/patching.
$25 OBO or a 12pack of Corona :)
Pending to theZman

Quarter windows-Perfect, no chips, cracks, hazing, etc. $20/per or $30 for the pair?

Shelby 5-slot wheels-Need to get the specifics on these, will be pulling the tires and blasting them this weekend.

Tail lights/Panel-Lenses have no cracks or chips. Chrome trim flaked but overall in very solid shape. Panel is in great shape, just faded. $75?

Front side marker lights- Good shape, wires have been cut. $10/pair or free with anything else.

awesome! thanks man. yeah i was thinking just painting it anyway. i haven't seen how bad my right quarter is but for 60 bucks i can't pass that up. i'll be up this weekend for the bumper. may have to wait until the following weekend for the quarter panel if that is cool with you. may also want the rear hatch. mine is missing the lock and has some rot issues. depends on how money is looking next paycheck.

I am in need of a driver side quarter if it is clean, $60 I would take it. Where in CT? My gf lives in New Haven. Also pm a price on the radio, heater control panel and the new gas tank. I am getting ready to get going on my other Z car. Thanks.

it's at my house in meriden.... it would be better if you can possibly cut it out yourself so you know how much of it you can save.

I will not be back yet, I am now in FL. I need from where the dog leg joins the rocker up to under the quarter glass and back to the tail light. Let me know about the other items, also if the car has a splash pan.

I'll take the inspection lids if they are still available. We can either ship or Clive can pick them up with his quarter panel. Let me know if Paypal is OK.

Do you have clean cargo straps?

Also the plastic trim edging at the front of the rear deck. Right in front of the deck carpet if it's un-cracked?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
ill get the lids pulled off and cleaned up and snap a couple pictures for you. Most of the interior trim is there and in good shape, any chance you have a picture of what you are talking about? If you aren't in a hurry I can just send the parts along with Clive, otherwise shipping shouldn't be too big of an issue.

I can't find my parts manuals and I don't have microfiche.
So if the gas tank from the '73 fits a 6/70 production Z, we
would like to buy that from you. I gave Frank a laundry list
of things I want to have on hand in case I decide to return the
'70 to original, I'll see if I can get help pulling that down and
sending it to you also.
