I've seen it in real life. They had it at the Napoli Indoor Showroom where I bought my Z. It is really clean, and I mean REALLY clean. But I dont believe it is worth the price they are asking. But that is just my $.02

Yes Thorsten, we know this car pretty well, thanks. A local man named Greg owned it for many years. It had been completely dismantled and every piece was painted independently. It won a local (CT) Concours d' Elegance in Greenwich, CT and Greg only drove it 100 miles each year.

A sudden financial crisis caused Greg to sell this incredible beauty just last spring (April 2008), AFTER he had sold everything else he owned. It was his last prize possession, and he hated to see it go. He had spent more than $30,000 USD to restore it, and it was a 'perfect' restoration. The car looked better than new. Only the aftermarket wheels and a non-original paint code kept it from being a 100pt car, but it scored in the high 90s.

The car was bought then by its present owner, who owns a NISSAN dealership. He has apparently driven the car about 2,000 miles since then. The price was then very close to what he is asking now.

I have seen this car in person, and taken several photographs of it. It is incredible, and I feel it is worth every penny of what the current owner is asking for it, and more. I only wish it was a 1970.

We advertiZed this car for sale when Greg decided to sell it last year:

Whoever buys this immaculate beauty should be afraid to drive it ~ it's THAT perfect.

My bad. I did not realize the amount of money and effort put into that car when I saw it. I was also unaware of its history. In that, I retract my statement. Its a beautiful car and well worth the money.
