I'm looking for a good stock steel wheel for a 1972 240Z...preferably in great shape so I won't have to sand-blast it.

One of my wheels has a minor bend in it so I'm looking for a replacement that is straight and true.

Also looking for a coat hook screw ....my driver side coat hook's screw is stripped and I can't seem to find a replacement with the right threads.

Two very un-related parts...

I'll be at the fall gathering this Saturday so that would be the ideal place to make the transaction.

Please forgive my failing memory-- I used to have a good memory
but I forgot where I put it!!
Maybe this will also help others on the search: do I recall correctly that
the size had gone to 14"x5" by 1972? The old originals were 14x4-1/2.

Rick - You are correct on the width change to 5" about '72, perhaps '73. I picked up a set of 4 cast-off 5" wide wheels for $20 about that time when I replaced a set of tires. Of course, the original 4 1/2" wheels were discarded!

For authentic restorers, this is a good item to watch for on early cars that are headed for salvage.
